We’re regularly rolling out new features and updates to Adpearance Websites. Learn more about the May ‘20 release.
We’re excited to roll out a highly-requested feature and announce that the Adpearance Websites platform can now integrate with eBay. If you choose to add the eBay integration to your CMS, you can have eBay auction listings automatically created when you add inventory to your website.

We monitor performance across the inventory websites platform to target changes that will improve customer experience and engagement. In a recent heat mapping analysis, we noticed that customers were consistently skipping the initial content block on inventory and showroom pages. It’s clear that customers want to see model listings right away, so we added the option to move content to the bottom of the page, making inventory more prominent at the top.
If you choose to make this change and move the content blog on your inventory and catalog index pages, you’ll also have the option to display a sticky CTA at the bottom of the screen. This keeps the closest location, phone number, and CTA visible as users navigate these pages.
To enable this sticky CTA, go to Layouts in your CMS and click ‘Default.’ Here, you can toggle on the ‘Right Breadcrumbs’ and ‘Sticky CTA’ fields. Add a name in the sticky CTA title field and your customers will now see your desired CTA as they scroll through catalog and inventory pages.
To improve lead generation efforts, we’ve added a simple contact form for mobile users. While the standard contact form has multiple fields for customers to fill out, you now have the option of adding a mobile version that displays only the email address and comment fields. This reduction in the number of fields a lead has to fill out will make form-fills faster and easier for customers on tablets and mobile devices.
To enable this feature, go to Layouts in your CMS and click ‘Form Settings.’ Here you can toggle on the ‘Simplified Mobile Form Field’ option.
If you have inventory that is both for sale and available to rent, you can now choose to display two phone numbers on the inventory detail page. This will ensure that rental customers and sales leads are routed to the correct dealer contact without having to navigate a phone tree.
To take advantage of this new feature, fill in both the retail and rental phone number fields on the inventory entry in your CMS.
To encourage engagement on the careers page, users can now filter by job title, category, job type (part-time or full-time), and location. If you haven’t done so already, add these details to live job listings to support your recruitment efforts.
All hero components now have a mobile asset field. This means that no matter what hero component you choose, it will appropriately size and display on mobile devices. This update improves the mobile-friendliness and look and feel of each page on your website.
Blog URLs have been simplified, with the query results parameter removed. You’ll notice the following change in URLs:
The removal of the query results parameter makes the URLs shorter and easier to understand, and is better for search engine optimization (SEO).
