We are seeking a high-performing Account Executive who is responsible for creating and closing opportunities within a territory. This person must demonstrate all the behaviors associated with a high performance sales culture, specifically: prospecting for new business, upsell and cross-sell,  and delivering results against a quota.


  • Strategic Thinking: Identifies possible customer pain points, expectations, and implicit needs in order to systematically devise solutions to complex dealership challenges
  • Collaboration: Works with peers and executives across sales, client success, and product teams to create win-win scenarios for all parties involved
  • Communication: Effectively delivers presentations and product demos, tailors content and style to each customer, and writes persuasive and thoughtful email content
  • Ownership: Goes out of his or her way to complete a job and has relentless drive to achieve results; takes initiative with minimal direction or supervision


  • Exceed activity, pipeline, and revenue goals on a quarterly basis
  • Achieve a new business sales quota in the assigned territory
  • Prospect and close appropriate accounts from the assigned territory
  • Continually build a pipeline of new business, upsell, and cross-sell opportunities
  • Become an expert on Adpearance’s products and conduct discovery calls, presentations, and demos with prospects and customers
  • Demonstrate and sell value to key stakeholders within the accounts during fast moving as well as complex sales cycles
  • Work in a team-selling environment with an experienced Senior Sales Manager and apply appropriate resources to opportunities
  • Track all opportunity and customer details including use case, purchase time frames, next steps, and forecasting in Salesforce
  • Bring your thinking, strategies, and ideas to advance our company’s values, unique culture, and vision for the future

Required Qualifications

  • Solid sales foundation built through sales training and practical experience
  • A consistently high-performer -- are you always in the President’s Club?
  • 5+ years of selling experience; SaaS experience preferred
  • 1+ years outbound prospecting experience a plus
  • Technically savvy; thorough understanding of a related technology
  • Skilled in virtual presentations, online web demos, remote sales processes
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Have the desire and commitment to do what it takes to be successful in sales
  • Have a positive outlook and a strong ability to take responsibility for their successes and failures
  • Have exceptional consultative selling and closing skills
  • Have a sharp focus on their goals and a belief that their daily, weekly and monthly activities will help achieve them
  • Proven experience in developing new business, achieving bookings goals, and managing personal sales strategies
  • Strong verbal and written communication, time management, organizational as well as presentation skills
  • A team player that will thrive in our fluid, fast-paced, dynamic, scaling environment
  • A highly motivated and results-driven self-starter
  • Proficiency using a CRM ( a plus)
