HEADER AND FOOTER CUSTOMIZATION

The header and footer of your website are important for creating an engaging and easy to navigate site. The structure of each quickly communicates to search engines and customers who you are and what you do, and can help set you apart from your competitors. 

Recognizing this, we've added new options to customize your header and footer. You can now choose from one of six header options through the layouts template in the CMS. Additionally, our design team can now incorporate your brand colors and color gradients. Contact your website’s dedicated project manager to start taking advantage of these new design and layout options.

ADA COMPLIANCE

We continuously audit and update websites on our platform to ensure compliance with federal ADA guidelines. As part of these updates, we added an automated feature that adjusts text colors for button elements to establish enough contrast for customers with low vision. This automation is already running on Adpearance Websites and there’s nothing further you need to do to add this feature to your site.

LOCATION IMPROVEMENTS

We've built out the functionality of location index and detail pages to increase customer engagement and conversions. As shown in the image below, the map on the location index page now displays an image when a pin is clicked. Additionally, you can now add a carousel of images on location detail pages. Use the carousel feature for images of the exterior of your building to help customers identify your location, or post pictures of in-stock inventory or the friendly faces of your employees.

CONFIGURABLE INVENTORY IMPORTS

If your site is integrated with an external inventory system, you now have more control in determining which inventory displays on your website. Previously, all active units from the inventory management system were displayed. Now, you have the flexibility to only display rental units, units on sale, or other inventory segments that align with your business goals.
